This October will see Parisian brand Bleu de Paname release their Winter Collection, “Rungis”, for 2009. Inspired by the Halles de Paris, which was a huge market in the center of Paris, the relatively new brand manufacture all of their apparel in France, and continue to stay faithful to both French cuts and styles. This latest collection once again makes extensive use of navy blue with white detailing and is designed to be functional, comfortable and stylish.

Having seen hugely famed fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld be the centre of similar pieces, here is a great figure from Tokidoki. Making an understated approach, something of which Lagerfeld if renowned for makes for an impressive release.

Karl Lagerfeld: ”I am very flattered that I became a tokidoki. I always loved them and I am very happy to be one of them!”

Only 1000 of the 10inch figures are in production and you can get them from Colette for about 129 Euro.

I’M ON A MISSION!

A couple days ago Billionaire Boys Club unveil all three designs from the brand’s The Blueprint 3 lineup. Although each version shares familiar imagery, each reflects a different message, with a couple featuring backside graphic hits. The “So Ambitious”, “ABC”, and “I’m On A Mission” tees will see a release on September 23rd within BBC/Ice Cream Japan. A US release can be expected as well. Retail is set at $78.

London based designer Bodo Sperlein has introduced the Contour table and chair at the 2009 London Design Festival.

From the designer:

The Contour table and chair are part of a capsule furniture collection which continues his signature style of sensual and curvaceous forms – this time however working on a larger scale. The final shapes strongly reflect the design process, based around folding flexible and malleable materials such as paper, to create a series of dynamic curves and forms.

The concept, design is by Sven Fischer. He is a member of “Team Tentakulus“, which is doing Interior- and Industrial Design.
They say: Shocker Chopper rocks and will for sure be an eye-catcher. Pure, simple and plain without much ado.

This bike is made for the city, for the streets. It looks so dangerous and I’m sure many people turn around when they see it.

In 1987, Tunis native Jean Touitou created the French fashion label A.P.C. (Atelier de Production et de Creation). Over the years A.P.C. has distinguished itself as a prestigious clothier of fine apparel based on classic items and silhouettes. A.P.C. is headquartered in Paris with primary stores sprinkled across various parts of the world including France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Tokyo and the US.

For fall 2009 A.P.C. and Supreme will present a two piece capsule of a denim jean and graphic t-shirt. The jean, a specially designed version of A.P.C.’s classic New Standard style, will feature a back pocket embroidery and a removable pin. The tee will come in two colors; red (available exclusively at Supreme stores) and black (available exclusively at A.P.C. Stores).

Available in-store and online on October 1st. Available in Japan on October 3rd.
