As part Vans’ exclusive Vault collection, this Sk8 Hi offers a drop in footbed for a more comfortable feel than your standard Sk8 Hi. A little flashier than what we’re usually into, but if that’s what you’re looking for, these are a decent pick.

The Vans Vault “Capri Breeze” upper in blue features a combination of patent leather on the toebox and tonal blue suede, Thin round laces are another lesser seen addition to the shoes.

Having been offered a few different looks into Vans Vault’s upcoming 2009 fall/winter collection comes perhaps the strongest model to date with the unveiling of a Wingtip Era. Combining two classic elements of design with the low profile Era and the traditional wingtip motif, a total of five colorways are on hand including some bold two-toned white/black and orange versions. Available starting late August.

With a concurrent theme over different colors, Vans Vault drops its 2009 Spring/Summer “Messenger” collection. The nice solid material base can be seen over three separate packs of the SK-8 HI LX and Authentic LX. Colors include green, blue/red and red/tan. Available now at select Vans Vault dealers including Proper.

The highly anticipated collaboration between LA crew Crooks & Castles and Vans, I showed you a couple of month ago, is now available at the Crooks online store. The 44 Hi is a mid cut sneaker with perforated leather and patent in the upper, ankle strap, and a fresh Gucci colorway. Pick them up for $85.

I present you the new Vans Mountain Edition High “Satin” Pack. The Mountain Edition High comes in three colorways, all featuring a satin upper. The silver colorway also comes with a lining print, where as the others feature tonal linings. Previously we have seen the use of satin by Vans on the upper in their collaboration with Huf on the Sk8 Hi. The Vans Mountain Edition High “Satin” Pack is now available at Essence.

Here’s a look at a new set of the Authentic’s from Vans Vault’s 2009 Spring Collection I found on Hypebeast. Using nubuck for its upper, these Vans Vault releases will come in two nice colorways – teal blue and black. The sneakers also utilize thin laces as opposed to the usual thick ones which makes these sneakers even more desirable. Available soon at VA.

Sometimes the simplest thing is still the best. The Vans Authentic has not changed in years and to date is still one of the nicest sneakers out there. This Spring season it comes in both suede and canvas in a variety of nice colorways. Avaiable in more colors at HUF.

Once again hypebeast.com got the s***t! Los Angeles-based Crooks & Castles will be doing a collabo with skate shoe giant Vans. Based on the Fremont High model, it will come in white and black colorways with Crooks’ red/green/black strap accents reminiscent of Gucci’s high-end design. These are scheduled to be released early spring of ’09 and will only be sold at the 8021 store.
